Q. Do we need to meet with the musicians prior to the event?
A. It is not necessary for us to meet with you before the wedding day. All details can easily be arranged via email and/or phone.
Q. Will the musicians perform outdoors?
A. Yes, we will perform outdoors, however we require adequate protection from sun or inclement weather.
Q. How do the musicians dress?
A. We dress in formal black attire unless otherwise requested.
Q. What do the musicians require at the venue?
A. We require adequate performance space, armless chairs, lighting and access to electrical outlets if needed.
Q. Will the musicians perform special requests?
A. When possible, and if suitable for our instrumentation we will accommodate your special requests.
Q. How far are the musicians willing to travel?
A. We generally perform within a 100-mile radius of Portland, Maine. There is a per-mile charge outside of the Greater Portland area. Please fill out the online questionnaire to receive a quote.
Q. Will the musicians attend the rehearsal?
A. It is not necessary for us to attend the rehearsal.
Q. When will the musicians arrive at the venue?
A. We will arrive 30 – 45 minutes prior to our start time.
Q. Will the musicians play at the cocktail hour?
A. Chamber music is an elegant addition to your cocktail hour. We will happily provide background music.
Q. Do the musicians need a sound system?
A. A sound system is not necessary for the ceremony. However, it is occasionally recommended for outdoor cocktail hours. We can provide the sound system at an additional cost.
